Virtual Mock Interview with Carmen Schools

We are looking for experienced professionals with interviewing skills to help coach local 9th grade students. The mock interviews will be held virtually, so you can participate from the comfort of your own office, cubical, or home desk.

Each session is 75 minutes, including the following: 

• Staff provide instruction and match students with professionals (10 minutes)
• Professionals to conduct mock interviews (45-50 minutes), 
• Wrap-up and transition (5-10 minutes)

During your time, you will meet with one student at a time to allow for “depth” in practice, coaching, and feedback. The first portion of your conversation will be an informational interview , where the student can get to know you and ask you questions about your career path and current role/ organization. Halfway through , you will switch roles and being the Mock Interview , giving the students the chance to practice their interviewing skill and tell you about how awesome they are. As best as they can, the school will match you with students whose interests align with your professionals whose careers align with careers they want to pursue.

Dates/Times of Mock Interviews :

• April 22nd – April 25th or May 21st & 22nd
• Times vary between 8:00am – 10:00am or 1:00pm – 3:30pm
