About the event
Closing gender and racial wage gaps is essential to building an equitable economy and addressing the barriers that have long hampered women and people of color from fully participating in the labor force. Past practices in business can contribute to arbitrary and potentially discriminatory pay that then follows women and workers of color from job to job, entrenching gender and racial pay gaps over time. We have work to do!
Join us for this lively conversation. We’ll talk about the current situation, how we got here and demystify what an organization should be doing to move to a more equitable pay program. We’ll also take a look at it from the employee perspective, join us to learn how you can you tackle the complex task of “asking” for what you’re worth.
