About the event
As an influencer of effective diversity practices, it is essential to understand the dynamics of socialization. This seminar focuses on the need for stronger intercultural relationships to promote a richer exchange within the community of practitioners. It is intended to stimulate dialogue and inspire a way of thinking about the ‘culture connection’ – the ability or inability of diversity practitioners to foster and maintain effective relationships within the culture. The core presentation focuses on the benefits of having a strategic orientation towards diversity and inclusion.
Participants of this session will be invited to a follow-up experience (date tbd) that extends the conversation on the importance of having a stakeholder mentality to distinguish corporate vs community approaches for more effective outcomes.
Presented by Dr. Wanda J. Martin-Terry, Ph.D., MBA, MS, MLE, CLC
