Annual Joint NAAAHR & MMSHRM Breakfast Meeting

The population of the Milwaukee-area is growing increasingly diverse, yet African-Americans and Hispanics in our region face greater economic disparities than any of our 20 peer metropolitan areas. Following months of quantitative and qualitative research last year with more than 1,000 African American and Hispanic/Latino managers, 80 MMAC member companies have rallied around a region-wide pledge to increase diverse management and employment in Milwaukee. From the survey the biggest liability was found to be racial disparity.

Join us as Julie Cigallio Granger (Executive Vice President, MMAC) and Genyne Edwards (African American Leadership Alliance Milwaukee/P3 Development Group) co-facilitate a session to update participants as to the results of MMAC’s findings and strategies on making Milwaukee a Region of Choice for Diverse Talent. Following the presentation, there will be an interactive session where participants will have an opportunity to provide input on next steps and join efforts to advance the initiative.
